File upload

Upload files so they can be further processed. There are two ways to upload a file, uploading a local file and providing URL to hosted file. In the process of file upload fileId will be returned. All operations to be performed require that fileId as an input parameter.

Upload from local file

Upload a PDF file directly from your local device to the API endpoint. This method allows you to transfer PDF documents stored on your computer or device directly to the API for processing. To upload a local file, provide the file name in the request body. The response contains fileId that is later used as input for operation and uploadURL that represents presigned URL to which you need to upload the actual file. Check upload from local file in the API Reference.

Upload from URL

Upload a PDF file by providing a direct URL link to the file hosted online. This method allows you to submit PDF documents for processing by specifying their online location rather than uploading them directly from your device. To upload a file using a URL, provide the file URL in the request body. The response contains fileId that is later used as input for operation.
